Long awaited update

Okay I have to admitt I have been a bit of a slacker, but what can I say something has to give. Anyway here is an update on what the Woolf family has been up to lately. Hope you enjoy.

Progress on the house

Building a house consumes a huge portion of our time and so we thought we would share our progress with you all. We have just finished, plumbing, heating & air and are ready and waiting for electrical. Jared is always working so hard at keeping on top of what needs to be done on the house. Although Henry had to argue last weekend that even though his dad is building our brand new house he (Henry) still has the biggest muscles.
Beaver County Fair 2008

Cowboys in Training

Tommy and Henry both got to ride in the little britches rodeo at the fair. All Tommy wanted to do is win the Buckle and Henry just wanted to ride a (buckin bull sheep). They both had a great time and Tommy took 5th place out of 85 kids.

Summer Vacation 2008

We Spent our summer vacation in Michigan with Uncle Andy, Aunt Ashlee, Laynee & Shay. On Saturday, August 16, our family along with Grandma Woolf set our for Michigan. We drove for two days but finally made it to Michigan on Sunday night. We were so happy to be there and very excited to see everyone. On Monday we got ready and headed for northern Michigan to visit a tourist attraction called Mackinaw city and Mackinac Island. We stayed over night and visited the island on Tuesday. It was all very neat and exciting to see and now that we have been there once we know all the tricks and would love to go back again. We got back to Lansing on Tuesday night. on Wednesday we spent the day at the Zoo and looking around Lansing. Thursday we got up and headed home after a quick tour of downtown Lansing and Uncle Andy's school. We had a great time and want to say Thank you to Uncle Andy, Aunt Ashlee, Laynee and Shay for opening there home to us.

This is the Ferry that we rode on to get to the island and the boys were excited about the big ship.

Tommy and Henry had a great time on Lake Huron. They loved the water and Henry came up with a great plan to get burried.

Here we are at Lake Lansing and the boys enjoyed using there diggers in the sand. Aunt Ashlee was always prepared with whatever we needed.

Lake Huron is freshwater (just a little reminder) but henry was always on the lookout for whales and sharks and was really good to let us all know that they were no where in sight. He probably told us 50 times in 30 minutes that there were not sharks or whales.

Aren't dads great! They were so worn out from the drive that they volunteered to keep to beach chairs warm for us.

Happy Birthday #2

Henry was really excited to eat his birthday cake and did not want to wait until after Breakfast.

Henry got a Basketball hoop for his birthday along with tools, diggers and of course cowboy boots.

Henry kept telling us that he turned 3 not 2. He always wants to be as old as Tommy and Jake and so he settled on 3 for this year. Happy Birthday Henry We love you so much.
